You may be on a budget, but there’s no need to be just another number at a big hotel or tucked away at a room in the middle of town. Stay with us and become part of our extended family at our beachfront property.

Located on the Caribbean Sea at the end of an almost hidden street, you’ll find our quaint studio condo with all the amenities. A long-time favorite of travelers to Ambergris Caye, we invite you to become part of our extended family. We are located just at the edge of town, a mere six-minute walk to Central Park. You’ll find so much to do within minutes of our condo that you won’t need the expense of renting a golf cart unless by the day to explore the island.

Belizean Reef is surrounded by palms, whispering tropical pines, tropical flowers, and the Caribbean Sea is right at the doorstep. The view from your balcony is our quiet little garden; relax and read a book while the birds fly around and the Iguanas sun themselves on the ground below. One of the great joys of traveling to Ambergris Caye is watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee in your hand; the sunrise viewed from our beachfront property doesn’t disappoint. Suppose you’ve just come to sit and relax. In that case, you’ll find yourself spending your days in our hammocks gazing at the beauty of the turquoise water and mesmerized by the waves as they crash over the coral reef. What about the sunsets, though, you ask; climb the stairs, and you’ll find yourself on our rooftop deck with a panoramic view of the island. It’s the perfect location for watching the sunset before you head out for dinner some nighttime entertainment.

Speaking of dining and entertainment, you’re literally located a minute away from Blue Water Grill and Carlo and Ernie’s Runway bar. Two “must go” spots for all visitors to the island. A vast selection awaits a few minutes farther field. You’re probably wondering how you’ll ever find all of these great places. Worry not, as our Mobile Guest App is loaded with information, including listings for numerous restaurants, bars, and activities. Our App is integrated with GMaps making it easy to find your way around town. Each listing is linked to TripAdvisor; we’ve even linked the menus to many of the restaurants. The App is also searchable, so you can easily find the nearest Seafood or even Vegetarian options.

Planning on diving, snorkeling, sailing, fishing, or exploring the Mayan ruins? Our concierge/manager Yvette has got you covered; she knows all the best guides and tours and will have you set up in no time. Yvette will be there with you all the way from the day you book until the day you depart. Pickups for your activities are a breeze; there’s a dock, you’ve seen it in our pictures, just steps away. Need to get some work done while you're on vacation? We have 40Mb fiber Internet.

Is a morning swim or snorkel on your list of must-do activities? Just walk into the water right in front of the property. Only to the south are the ruins of an old dock that make for an exciting snorkel; we are in an area of little boat traffic, so feel free to swim parallel to the shore to the north of us.

Housekeeping is available upon request at no additional charge; we also provide laundry service for a small fee. We meet you at the San Pedro airport or San Pedro Belize Express water taxi and help you with transportation to the villa.

"A studio condo with a full kitchen, friendly and very helpful rental manager, excellent location, fast wifi, cable TV. Drinking water provided. Sadly, unexpected tropical storm Sara ruined my last couple of days, no fault of the property.

An exceptional alternative to staying at a resort!

"The Casita at Belizean Reef was absolutely perfect for a solo diver visiting San Pedro and wanting to be immersed in the culture of the area. Everything a traveler, and diver, could need was available there at the Belizean Reef: Great bed, beautiful view, hot shower, clean amenities, all centrally located right in the middle of San Pedro. Though in a busy area, the location is nestled in a quiet spot surrounded by the bustling city, and the noise was minimal. For a diver, the secure garden area and patio made for the perfect place to dry gear, and I could not have been more comfortable after a long day of diving, as the amply sized refrigerator, the clean jugged water, and the amazing air conditioning made for perfect, relaxed evenings. Ernie and Carlo's Runway Bar was a 30 second walk away, and the restaurants within walking distance were exceptional! I will absolutly be renting this spot again next time I'm in San Pedro!

"We had a great stay! Simon’s place was very well located and in a safe area. The guidebook he provided us with was great for things to do and restaurants in the area. His place didn’t have great beach access, so we used the neighboring resort. Kaitlyn was very responsive for communicating arrival and checkout and she was very accommodating to anything we needed. Overall, we would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others travelling to San Pedro!

"Our stay in San Pedro was great! Our studio apartment was perfect for us. It had everything we needed and we loved it was close to most everything. We loved the kindness of Yvette and Irma! They are a great team; they answered questions, gave directions to different places and were so caring and treated us as “family”. They made our stay even better! The other people staying there were also friendly and it is kept up and clean. The location is very convenient to the Tropic Air and walking distance to so many restaurants/bars, water taxis and dive boats, snorkeling and beaches. We recommend Belizean Reef whole heartedly!

"Best vacation ever. Their property manager Yvette has been there a long time, and she takes care of every detail and makes it seem easy! I love staying here because it's right in the middle of town-- easy to walk up or down the beach and find plenty of things to do. It's not fancy but if you're a pretty laid back, unfussy person or couple who enjoys simple pleasures and finds beauty everywhere, you'll love staying here.

"The location was very beautiful, with one exception. Second morning and fifth morning we found a dead cockroach. After talking to the property manager, Yvette, we were assured that it was not a widespread situation. We would definitely stay here again.
